The Council of the County of Brant supported the Brant Economic Development Strategic Plan at its April 6, 2010 meeting.
With assistance of a grant from the Federal Southwest Community Adjustment Fund (SWCAF) and other partners:Brant County Federation of Agriculture, Brant Jobs and the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, the County retained WCM Consulting to develop the plan and it had been a work-in-progress for nearly five months and features key strategies to further develop Brant's goals of job creation and prosperity.
